Lillian “Connie” Conahan, 101 passed away Sunday June 3, 2012. She was born August 26, 1910 in New York and came to Clearwater, Florida in 1954 from Andover, New Jersey. She has been a resident of New Port Richey since 1956. Connie was a professional pianist playing many venues including ‘The Pier’ in St Petersburg, Tahitian Gardens Lounge in Holiday, Connie’s Bar and Grill in Hudson, weddings, talent shows and dinner music. Connie taught organ and piano lessons to numerous students of all ages. Connie was very passionate about her family and her music. She was preceded in death by a daughter Margaret Jeanne Widen. Survivors include her daughter Bette Blackwell-Christine of New Port Richey. 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren 10 great- great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 7, 2012 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hilltop Drive, New Port Richey where she was a member. Inurnment will follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens.
