She was born in Oak Ridge, TN on March 22nd 1947. Gayle graduated from EW Grove High school in Paducah, Kentucky and received an associates degree from Droughns Business College. She was married to Van Johnson on September 30th 1966.
Gayle worked as an executive assistance for URS corporation. She had a love and passion for dogs.
She is survived by her husband Van Johnson, her children Byron and Barry Johnson, grandchildren Addison Johnson, Keegan Johnson and Ava Johnson. He is survived by his siblings Jeanie Ragers, Vickie Sherretz and Denise Ross.
A visitation for Gayle will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652, with a funeral service and committal service to follow.
