DeAnna Maree Couch Ray

DeAnna Maree Ray, 57, New Plymouth Idaho, lost her battle to cancer on August 17, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. Graveside services will be held on at 2:00 pm August 21, 2015 at Parkview Cemetery in New Plymouth, Idaho. DeAnna was born in Enterprise Oregon on March 27, 1958 to Leo Edwin Couch and Helen Avis Couch. She shared her childhood with her three siblings, Kelly, Kent, and Janine. She graduated from Enterprise High School as a Savage in 1976. She preceded her education and received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She worked as an OB Nurse at West Valley Medical Center, and helped deliver countless newborn babies. She loved her job and the people she worked with. On November 23, 1992 she married the love of her life, James B. Ray. Throughout their 23 years of marriage they enjoyed, vacations to the Oregon coast, camping, and spending time with their family. DeAnna gave birth to four children, Michelle Kay Nitta, Ryan Patrick Wilson, Russell James Wilson, and Nicole Renee Ray. She had six grandchildren who she loved spending time with, Brooke, David, Rachel, Kylee, Ryder, and Dylan. She was a loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Sister, Daughter, and Friend. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Avis Couch, who also lost her battle with cancer in 2010. DeAnna was loved and admired and will be missed dearly.
