Yvonne Williams Spradley

Yvonne Williams Spradley passed away on December 14, 2015 at the age of 88. Born Charlotte Yvonne Williams in Waldheim, Louisiana on March 22, 1927, she moved to New Orleans at the age of 17. Yvonne worked as an executive secretary for various employers including; Pittsburg Plate and Glass and Delta Development. She was a resident of Metairie for 51 years and of Mandeville for the past 5 years. Yvonne loved to read and spend time with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of Metairie United Methodist Church.

Beloved wife of 53 years to the late Charles M. Spradley, she is survived by her son, Scott Williams Spradley, daughter in law Vicki Spradley and two grandsons; Matthew Spradley and Jonathan Spradley. She is also survived by one brother, Robert Williams, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her parents, Frederick Williams and Caroline Williams, her sister, Katherine Williams Daniels and her brother Charles Williams.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd on Friday December, 18. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon with services immediately following. Interment will be at the Garden of Memories Mausoleum in Metairie.
