William Ronald "Ronnie" Maynard

William Ronald “Ronnie” Maynard, AKA “Ringo” passed away peacefully on August 19, 2017 surrounded by his family. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debbie Marchadie Maynard; his daughter, Rhonda Maynard Ford (Kenny); his son, Kirk Maynard, and his adopted daughter, Eva Haas Mizell (Nathan); grandkids, Christian Claverie, Alex and Rylee Ford, Elaine “Lanie” Maynard, Jaxson Velazquez, and Kiersten, Phoebe, Grace and Eden Mizell; his brothers, Robert “Bobby” Veith, Charles Veith; sister, Mary Lynn O’Brien; brother-in-law, Ketih Marchadie (Debbie) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Morse-Maynard Veith; his sister, Suzanne Veith and mother-in-law, Irma Hymel Marchadie. Ronnie graduated from Warren Easton High School and Louisiana State University. He served six years in the U.S. Navy as a 3rd Class Petty Officer. His career in the oil field industry expanded over 30 years, working for companies such as Texaco, Schlumberger, Cudd, Patriot Tools, and Reservoir Data. Family and friends are invited to attend an evening visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 5-8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Kurt Young, will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 12:00 noon with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
