Ronnie Lewis Moore was born in Baton Rouge Louisiana on September 6, 1954, to Yvonne and Sonny Moore. Ronnie enlisted in the Marine Corps on July 10, 1972. Ronnie became a E2 Rifleman in the Vietnam War. In 1974 Ronnie was injured and received the National Defense Service Medal.
During his adult life following his injury Ronnie was cared for by his oldest sister Peggy Severe and his Sister Daphne Hollingworth. Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother Bubba and his sister Brenda Moore. Ronnie leaves behind his other siblings Peggy Severe, Daphne Hollingworth, Terry Moore, Gail Steen, Cynthia Moore, Gaylord Mustin and array of nieces and nephews.
