Rebecca K. Lasseigne

Rebecca is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Steven Lasseigne; her two sons, Joseph Monnerjahn (Laura) and Nicholas Lasseigne (Amber); her four grandchildren, Layla, Lily, Mia, and Jason; her sister, Rachel Elton (Richard); her brother, Kenneth Krizan (Sandee); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Una Krizan.

Rebecca was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 15, 1958. In 1976, she graduated from Grace King High School and attended Loyola University. She was currently working as the office manager with Central Claims Services, where she began her career in 1985. She was an integral leader and truly loved helping others.

Rebecca, with her husband, enjoyed hiking and travelled all across the United States, including Alaska, California, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, North and South Dakota, and Utah. Most of all, she cherished her time spent with her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
