Michael Harold Schulz III

Michael Harold Schulz, III, beloved husband of the late Lucille Lamarque Schulz passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011at the age of 91. Father of Luann Schulz Landry wife of Larry Landry, Leana Schulz Tillery wife of Scott Tillery and the late Baby Schulz. Grandfather of Stacey LaGraize Meyaski, Kevin J. LaGraize, Jr., Kayne M. LaGraize, Matt J. Tillery, Holland Landry Hollingsworth, Maxwell L. Landry, Merritt D. Landry, and Jerome A. Landry. Great grandfather of Annelise, Abby, and Grenes Meyaski, III; Ava, Mia, and Audrey Hollingsworth; Trey, Zachary, Kailynne LaGraize, and Jacob LaGraize; Belle, Gabrielle, Maxwell Landry, Jr., Roman Landry and Sophie Landry. Brother of Elizabeth Schulz Schaeffer and the late Evelyn Schulz Horowitz. Son of the late Lena Pattison Schulz and Michael Harold Schulz, Jr.

Mr. Schulz was a native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of Chalmette, and owner of AA Amusement and Vending for many years. He was a proud U. S. Army Staff Sgt. Veteran of World War II, having served as an Engineer in the European campaign.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass.

Visitation will be at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA on Sunday, September 11, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. and again at the funeral home on Monday, September 12, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Guest book may be signed online at www.schoencanalstreet.com
