Matt J. Daws, a retired Western Electric Supervisor passed away at East Jefferson General Hospital on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the age of 90. Matt was born in New Orleans, LA on August 18, 1934. He served in the United States Navy as a 2nd Class Petty Officer. Beloved son of the late Robert Daws and Stella Ridge Daws. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Darrell Daws and other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Thursday, December,12 2024, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
