after along courageous battle with breast cancer. Born February 28, 1943 to
the late Mary Grace Ditta and James D Enos. She is survived by her dearly
beloved husband of 54 years, R. Daniel Lambert; her son, Steven D. Lambert;
her daughter, Donna Lambert Carter, & son-in-law, John D. Carter. She is also
survived by 4 grandchildren: Casey R. Lambert, Taylor R. Lambert, Daniel G.
Carter and LeAnn C. Carter; her brother, Albert S. Enos, mother-in-law,
Marietta L. Lambert, sister-in-law, Susan L. McKay, and her husband, Ronald
McKay. In addition, She is also survived by many dearly loved cousins, nieces
and nephews.
Mary was a minister of the Holy Eucharist, a member of the young at heart
of Assumption of Our Lady Church. She was an active member of Magnificat
Metairie. She was a native of Metairie, La., resided in River Ridge, La. for over
20 years, and Braithwaite, La. until 2011, when she returned to live in
Metairie after Hurricane Isaac. She was a retired realtor.
She will be mostly remembered for her contagious smile &, undying
kindness to all she crossed paths. Mary was deeply devoted to and dearly
loved her family and many friends. She deeply loved her Catholic faith,
which she actively practiced throughout her life. She will be greatly missed
by all that knew and loved her.
A Mass of Christian burial will be said on Tuesday December 1, 2015 @ St
Catherine of Siena Church 105 Bonnabel Blvd. Metairie, La. Visitation will
begin at 10:30 a.m. Mass will begin at 12:30 p.m. Internment at Lake Lawn
Metairie Cemetery , 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, La.
