I just found out the news of Mrs. Marilyn's passing.  I am so sorry for your loss.  She was such a kind person.  I know it's been yrs but I'll never forget how welcoming she was to us. We spent many times hanging out at the house. Great memories from then.  Keeping you all in my prayers.

I'm real sorry for your loss.  I'm glad I got to visit her a couple of weeks ago.  She was a great friend to all.  We will miss her.

What can I say about a woman who loved God, her family, animals and Barry Manilow (not always in that order)?
I could say she was a friend who had a genuine concern for others, who would stop what she was doing to talk to you when you crossed paths or stopped in.
I could say she found her independence when her children didn't need her as often as they had, that she would express an opinion even if yours were different, but never just to express that difference.
I could say she tried to enjoy life no matter whether it brought lobster or lemons.  Sometimes it's good to get both so you have lemon to put in the drawn butter.
I could say she'd laugh at my silly joke.
I could say I wish she were still among us, but that's a selfish want.
I could say it won't be the same to visit there without her welcoming hello, but I should add that I'm sure she's getting the reward for the life she lived.
