Marian Grace Basile Vaccaro was born in New Orleans on Christmas Day 1922 and passed away on January 7, 2015 in Woodville, MS. She recently celebrated her 92nd birthday. Beloved mother of Theresa Marie Molaison (Tommy), Raymond Joseph (Linda), and Jean Ann Vaccaro. Loving grandmother of Todd and Troy Molaison (Phyllis) and Jeffrey and Lisa Vaccaro (fiancé Ken). Great grandmother of Gabrielle and Evan. She is also survived by her brother Didier J. Basile and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Vincent Vaccaro and brothers Francis and Melvin Basile. Marian enjoyed crocheting/quilting and playing card/board games. She was a devout Catholic and sang with the choir at St. Rita’s Church prior to Hurricane Katrina. She is a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Woodville, MS. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Monday, January 11, 2015 at 2:00pm.
