Maria Consuelo Rodas, 10/01/1931- 08/22/2017, Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, Consuelo immigrated to America in the 1970’s to make a new life for her family and has since left a legacy of courage and resilience. Daughter of Paula Alvarado Rodas & Alberto Rodas, mother of David Rodas, grandmother to Ivan, Vanessa, Addison, Angelle, Abuela to Landen. She was loved and cherished by everyone she met, and she never met a stranger. With her, ordinary days were enough reason to celebrate. Salud! Visitation and memorial service to be held at Canal Street Church, 4302 Canal Street New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, August 30 beginning at 10am, service beginning at 11am. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
