MARTIN Louis Roy Martin, Jr. Passed away on Thursday, May 09, 2013 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. Beloved husband of Jane E. Mulla Martin for 55 years; father of Patricia M. Rodrigue (David), Deborah M. Grafton Lowe (Stanley) and Margaret M. Hebert (Robert E.); grandfather of Michelle R. Hof (Chistopher), Michael Rodrigue (Amy), William R. Grafton, Thomas M. Grafton, Elizabeth H. Hebert (Sean), and Ann H. Green (Conrad); Son of the late Louis R. Martin, Sr. and Margaret Jemison Martin; brother of Robert J. Martin (Judy). In the past he enjoyed playing golf, making golf clubs, building computers and writing programs, reading and writing science fiction books. He was a graduate of St. Aloysius and Tulane Unversity. The family would like to thank the many neighbors and friends, who supported and helped the family to care for Louis during his long battle with dementia especially Garry Vedros. Relatives and friends of the family are welcome to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St.; on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
