Lauren McCabe Griffith

Lauren McCabe Griffith, an IRS Agent passed away at the age of 61 on Friday, February 17, 2023. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Kenner. She was born August 26, 1961 to the late Raymond James McCabe Jr. and Jean Marie Murret McCabe. Lauren was a graduate of Archbishop Chapelle High School and received her Bachelor Degree from Louisiana State University.

Beloved wife of 35 years to R. George Griffith. Loving mother of Darra Marie Griffith, Laura Elizabeth Griffith, Jenna Ann Griffith and Michael Joseph Griffith (Elizabeth). Sister of Maureen M. Spring and Raymond J. McCabe III (Joanne). Adoring grandmother of Ella M. Griffith, Abigail J. Dargis, Hadley R. Griffith and McKenzie E. Griffith.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at University Medical Center for all their care and support.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home at 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70124 with a Funeral Mass beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Father Andrew Rudmann, officiating. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, preferred.
