Kathleen Anne McDonnell, age 63, of Mandeville, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 after a long illness. She was born and raised in New Orleans, and after Hurricane Katrina she relocated to Mandeville with her parents. She was the loving daughter of Alma Mitchell McDonnell and the late Joseph T. McDonnell, Jr.; beloved sister of Joseph T. McDonnell, III (Elizabeth); aunt of Benjamin and Nicholas McDonnell; and cousin of Michael and Stephen Baxter. She also leaves behind her two dogs, Samantha and Coco.
Kathleen attended St. Louis King of France and graduated from Mt. Carmel Academy. She was a food and wine sales representative with Sysco Foods and E & J Gallo Winery. She also worked at Foxy Lady Boutique.
She lived life to the fullest as all native New Orleanians do. She will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Metairie Cemetery.
