Julie Spencer, born on March 2, 1947 in Natchez, Mississippi, died of natural causes on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Touro Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was 71 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Helen Spencer and Henry Stephen Spencer. She is survived by her brother, Henry Stephen Spencer, Jr.
Julie graduated from Stephens College in Missouri and Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. She also studied in Paris, France at the Sorbonne. She worked at D.H. Holmes in New Orleans as a Buyer, Touro Hospital, and the American – Italian Cultural Museum. She enjoyed international travel and time at the beach.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 12 noon.
