Julian V. Campise, Jr.

Julian V. Campise, Jr passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024 at the age of 83. He was a native of New Orleans and resident of River Ridge. Julian proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He also obtained his associate’s degree and was both a welder and shipfitter. Julian was a member of the American Legion and Centurian Carnival Club. He enjoyed bowling, going to the casino and mostly spending time with family. Julian is preceded in death by his parents, Julian V. Campise Sr and Camille O’Chery Campise; son, Michael Santangelo, Sr; grandchild, Kristen Santangelo; sister, June Spell; and brother, Roy Campise. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Florentine “Sissie” Campise; daughters, Pamela Daley (Tim) and Julie Ferdinand (Zach); sons, Kenneth Campise (Rhona) and Jeffrey Santangelo (Christy); sister, Janet Kring (Glenn); brother, James Campise (Romana); sister-in-law, Beverly Campise; grandchildren, Kyle, Michael (Alyssa), Christopher (Megan) and Tiffany Santangelo, Kaylee Hornung (Justin), Michelle Daley, Steven Daley (Bry), Christopher, Megan and Erin Kocher, Carlee Mass and Nick Shaw (Ashlea); 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the service begins at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
