Joseph "Joey" C. Walther, Jr.

Joseph “Joey” C. Walther Jr., 75, devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away on October 17, 2021. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph Charles Walther, Sr. and Elizabeth Callaway Walther and sister Darlene Walther Massett-Director. Survivors include his wife, Gayle Earhart Walther, children, Kristin Walther Jarrett (Aaron) and Shawn Joseph Walther, step-children, Todd Michael Anderson and Tracey Anderson Besse, grandchildren, Addison, Brayden and Cohen Jarrett, Devin Michael Snow, Jacob Besse and Ashton Braselman, sister, Dianne Elizabeth Walther, brother, David M. Walther (Pamela), and a host of nieces and nephews very special to him. Joey was retired from International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Union Local 53 and Gallo Mechanical of Metairie.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin from 10:00am until funeral time. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
