Jeanne Yvette Barousse, a resident of Metairie, died April 18, 2023, at St. Joseph Hospice. She was 63 years old. Jeanne was a former Credit Bureau employee. Jeanne for the last ten years, devoted much of her time caring for her elderly mother. Jeanne loved to travel with her immediate family and cousins. She spent many hours planning the trips. She also loved watching her beloved New Orleans Saints. Jeanne leaves behind her brother, William Albert Barousse. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Nollie McRaney Barousse.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA. 70124, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 1PM. A Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11AM. Interment will follow the Mass in Metairie Cemetery.
