Janice was preceded in death by her husband, William ‘Dave’ Lee, and her parents Ruth and John Murphy. She was a loving and devoted mother to Brian D. Lee (Melissa) and Tracie L. Garwood (Dave). Proud grandmother of Colin Francis Lee and dear Mimi to Dave, Cassie, Jacob and Charlotte Norton; Paul, Tina, David and Grace Garwood; Jon and Kelli Garwood (Gage and Bella Emenes). She was also blessed with a loving circle of friends.
Janice was a kind, caring and gentle soul. She loved the Lord tremendously and found a way to profess her faith even when communication became difficult for her. Janice was well loved by many. She will be dearly missed and her memory will always be cherished.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 2 PM. Visitation will begin at 1 PM. After the chapel service, Janice will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park.
