Henry Honoré St.Paul, III was born in New Orleans, LA on July 20, 1952 to the late Henry Honore St.Paul Jr., and Helen Dunbar Christ. He attended Holy Name of Jesus Grammar School and graduated from De La Salle High School in 1970. He played on De La Salle’s Varsity Tennis Team and he and his partner finished second in state in doubles his Senior year. In August 1970, he entered Louisiana State University’s Engineering School and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration. Tanker was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and many Carnival organizations. Henry is predeceased by his father, Henry, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Helen, devoted and loving wife of 31 years, Jennifer Puckett St.Paul, his sons, Henry, William and daughter Jennifer Leigh, brothers, Dunbar, wife Katharine, Chris, wife Jeanne, Rene, wife Liz, Cort, wife Ingrid, and sisters, Julie, her husband Bob Albright, Lisa, her husband Richard Hudson, and Coco, her husband Todd Johnson. Beyond all of his many accomplishments, Tanker will be remembered for his exceptional integrity, his kind and gentle nature, and his devotion and love to his wife and three children. Always surrounded by family and friends, Tanker is known for his quick wit and sense of humor. Tanker was always present for even the smallest of events including Saturday morning bike rides with his son, William, the Monday night United Happy Bowling League, every sporting event, and so much more. There will be a visitation at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1329 Jackson Avenue, New Orleans, LA, followed by a service at 2:00 PM. A reception will immediately follow at the family's home, 128 Stella Street, Metairie, LA. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church and School or St. Michael's Special School.
