Frank Patrick Heavey went to his Heavenly Father on June 10, 2024 at the age of 94 in Bush, LA. He is survived by his wife, Sharron Naquin Heavey; daughters, Linda Marie Heavey, Debbie (Heavey) Blood (Taylor); and grandson, Nicholas- along with many more grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, John and Marie (Holmes) Heavey; daughter, Peggy (Heavey) Koff; and siblings, Richard F. Heavey, Margaret (Heavey) Navo, John Heavey, Marie (Heavey) Barraco, and Augusta (Heavey) Scanlon.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Frank was a retired business owner of Point of Sale Systems, formerly known as CRS. He was employed by the original owner and later purchased the business. As an avid runner, he liked the challenge of marathons. After retirement, Frank enjoyed meeting friends for morning coffee.
Service will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, Louisiana, on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10 AM with a Funeral Mass beginning at 12 PM. Frank will be laid to rest at All Saints Mausoleum following Mass.
