Frances Isabelle Schneider

Frances Hernandez Schneider passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the age of 84. She was the wife of William J. Schneider, Jr. who preceded her in death, and loving mother of William J. Schneider, III and Debra Schneider Barbin. She was survived by her sister’s Maria Hernandez Boudreaux and Erlinda Hernandez Pattison. She was preceded in death by her parents Rosina and Manuel Hernandez, and her sister Mercedes Hernandez Garcia.

Frances grew up in Mid-City with her sisters and parents, where her family ran the business of Manuel’s Hot Tamales on Carrolton Avenue. Francis loved her family and grandchildren and was affectionately referred to as “Muenca”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass to be held at JACOB SCHOEN & SON Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans at N. Scott St. on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm.
