Eulalia Ramos Mendez

Eulalia was born on January 24,1936 to her parents, Ventura Ramos and Eulalia Ramos, in Habana, Cuba.

In 1956, she married Belarmino Mendez and went on to have three children, Emilia, Dolores, and Jimmy.

Eulalia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 48 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Emilia and Dolores; son, Jimmy; sons-in-law, Raul Delgado and Frank Baldassaro; daughter-in-law, Amy Mendez; grandchildren, Alex, Adam, Brandon, Steven, Brandon, Samantha, Kaleb, and Crystal; great grandchildren, Chloe, Mia, Julian, Liam, Olivia, Alyssa, Lucas, Karlee and Kaylee; sister, Dolores Leal; brother-in-law, Francisco Mendez; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Though she may no longer be with us, Eulalia’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be missed but never forgotten.

The family would like to thank the staff of Inspired Living and Guardian Angels Hospice- particularly Maria and Cheryl- for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. After the Mass, Eulalia will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park.
