Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond McDaniel; granddaughter, Raven Seawright; brothers, Rudolph, Lionel, and Kelly Fauries; and her parents, Lawrence and Bessie Fauries.
Surviving are Ethel’s daughters, Laurie Seawright, Lisa O’Connor (Timothy), and Denise Derouen (Winson); and grandchildren, Chad Bourg (Brooklyn), Michael O’Connor (Sydney), Matthew O’Connor (Ashley), Mason O’Connor, Heather Brister (Chance), Nikki Olivier (Calvin), Briana Seawright, Brittany LeJeune (DJ), Brandon Derouen, and Bethany Derouen. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to celebrate Ethel’s life at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 11:30AM until 2:30PM. The interment will follow the gathering at Lake Lawn Park.
