Elaine McGinn

Elaine T McGinn passed away March 30, 201, age 71, at Ochsner main campus after a long battle with heart disease. She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, J Leonhard McGinn Jr, her cherished son John Andrew McGinn and her 3 grandchildren; Jordan Renee McGinn, Joseph L McGinn lV, Shane Patrick McGinn and her daughter-in-law, Amber P McGinn as well as her sister Corrine T. Carriere and the late Ernest Carriere; Paul and Melissa (McGinn) LaCroix of Columbus Ohio and Patrick and Linda McGinn of the Bahamas and Kristen Wingerter McGinn and matriarch Margot R McGinn as well as many cousins aunts and uncles. Proceeding in death are; J.L. (Trey) McGinn, William O and Edna Taylor Tillinghast, J Leonhard and Mary C McGinn, William O Tillinghast Jr and Joseph Tillinghast. Elaine graduated from Warren Easton High School in New Orleans and California State University at Fullerton California with a B.S. degree in finance. Elaine spent her entire time in New Orleans in the banking industry. Friends and family are invited to Lake Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6 for visitation at 10 and service at noon. Interment will follow at Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, make donations in Elaine McGinn’ s name to the American Heart Association.
