Charline Lane Sanders

Mary attended business school before beginning her career as an office manager. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kenner and Preceptor Beta Alpha. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, dining out and mostly spending time with family. Especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her first husband of 21 years, Marcus Ray Lane; her second husband of 23 years, Earl M. Sanders; her brothers, Douglas and Dudley Hammond; and her loving parents. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Lane Bostick (Maurice E. Bostick); step children, Troy Sanders, Shawn Sanders, and Erin Brennan (Charlie); her sister, Anne Bennett; her grandchildren, Heidi Murray CRNA (Bret), Holly Canny RN (Martin), Reese Bostick DDS, and John And Nicole Sanders ; her great-grandchildren, Madeline and Mckenzie Murray and Niamh, Chloe and Liam Canny; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors, and sorority sisters.

The family would like to give special thanks to Home Instead and St Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The funeral service for Mary will be Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. The visitation will begin at 8:30 AM. Following the service, the interment will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
