Carolyn Barraco Mouton passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016, at the age of 71. Beloved wife of Melvin John Mouton for 51 years. Loving mother of Byron Mouton and wife Julie, David Mouton and wife Nicole, and Michael Mouton and partner Carri. Adoring grandmother of Cecilia, Henri, Luci Mouton, the late Bella Mouton, and Dion Franceour. Daughter of the late Felix “Joe” Barraco and Bessie “Hedy” Christiana Barraco. Sister of Fred Barraco and wife Laura. Carolyn graduated from Sacred Heart and was a child care provider for the Jefferson Parish Public School System, and was a great mother to her three sons. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124.
