Carmelite Amelia Loyola

Carmelite Richter Loyola passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013, in Loveland, Ohio, where she resided since Hurricane Katrina. She was 93 years old. Beloved wife of the late Angel Loyola. Loving mother of Angela Loyola Settell (Bruce) of Loveland, Ohio, Steven Loyola, and Andrea Loyola. Grandmother of Sommer Settell Kordewick (Mike) of Hurst, Texas, and Robin Loyola. Great grandmother of Kailer and Kamden Kordewick. Daughter of the late Carmelite Richter Doromal and Hans Richter. Stepdaughter of the late Anacleto Doromal. Preceded in death by sisters Meta Dillon and Frances Asenci. Carmelite was a homemaker and a long-time Assistant at Schwegmann’s Supermarket in Chalmette, LA. She was an avid Bingo, Jackpot and Cornhole enthusiast, and a loyal New Orleans Saints fan. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home on Friday January 18 at 1pm. Visitation will begin at 11am until Mass time.
