Carl, realizing he needed the Lord, accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. He attended the New Orleans school system, and in his spare time, enjoyed DJing and spending time with his family and friends.
God saw Carl was tired and on April 1, 2023, He offered Carl a life free of worries and pain, where the streets are paved with gold, and where a crown of glory was waiting for him. God said to Carl, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant.’
Left with broken hearts and precious memories are Carl’s children, Carmen, Talasanders (Cedrica), Irian, Keyina (Tyron), Carl, Cedric, Kemyne (Priantae), Carlos, Slick Rick, Jerrared, Carla (Curtis), and Brandun; step-children Barry and Jame; adopted sister Patricia Brinson; 34 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation for Carl will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
