Byron “Pat” Jordan passed away at the age of 83 on January 14, 2022. A native of Baton Rouge, LA, he was born on December 6th, 1938 and attended Baylor University, remaining a loyal Bear supporter throughout his life. He was also a graduate of the Jefferson Military Academy. He worked in the oil service industry at French Jordan and Shield Coat. He was a member of the Noze Brotherhood, the National Association of Corrosion Engineers, the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical & Petroleum Engineers, and the Water Pollution Control Advisory Board in the E.P.A. He had fond memories of getting to be the King of the Krewe of Alla and loved to travel, especially taking cruises all around the world. He was an accomplished outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting in Uvalde, Texas and fishing at his camps in Toledo Bend, Empire, and Delacroix, if his collection of over 100 fishing poles was any indication.
