He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Suzanne Hacsunda Mese; parents, Benny Raymond Mese and Doris Pauline Blanchard Mese; and son, Benny Jude Mese, Jr.
Benny is survived by daughter, Wendy Mese Roussell (David Roussell) and Krissy Mese Carrigan (Sean Carrigan Jr); grandchildren, Skylend Roussell, Erica Mese, Camber Roussell, Zachary Roussell, Sean Carrigan III, Christopher Carrigan, Khloe Carrigan and Caleb Carrigan; and great-grandson, Benjamin Nguyen.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 2 PM. Visitation will begin at 12 PM. After the chapel service, Benny will be laid to rest in All Saints Mausoleum.
