Alice Karcher Coll passed away peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2021. She was born, raised, and lived and worked the majority of her life in New Orleans, La. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Coll; her parents, Lucien Karcher and Emma Marie Loupe; her sister, Lucille Karcher Shelby, and brother-in-law, Vernon Shelby; and her grandson-in-law, David Harty.
She is survived by her son, William Coll and his wife, Joyce; her daughter-in-law, Sharon Coll; her brother and sister-in-law, Lucien Karcher, Jr. and Betty Pace Karcher; three grandchildren, James Coll and his wife Deedre’ Walsh Coll, Jennifer Harty, and Jessica Coll; four great-grandchildren, Emma and Daniel Harty, and Anna Grace and Macy Coll; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 2:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 12:00PM. The interment will follow the Mass at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
