Susan Lee McCormick

Susan was born Sept. 19, 1957 in Leominster, Mass., the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Hubbert) McEnaney, who predeceased her. Sue loved her family passionately, especially her grandchildren, Liam, Mayson, and Layla. Sue had a keen sense of humor and loved to hear and share a good joke. Sue loved many things, including gardening, Aerosmith, antiques, The Golden Girls, muscle cars and most of all, her family.

Sue was a champion for all animals and her most treasured time during her career was the many years she worked for Old Saybrook Veterinary Hospital. Sue rescued and cared for countless creatures of all types. In her last five years, Sue loved and was beloved by her coworkers and many customers at Walmart in Waterford.

In addition to her grandchildren, Sue is survived by her children, Amanda McCormick, Matthew McCormick and his wife Kathrine; her grandchildren, Liam, Mayson, and Layla. She is also survived by her sister Donna Ewers; her sister and brother-in-law, Michele and Paul Bourque.

She will be missed by us all with a void that can never be filled.
