Mrs. Molière-Carlson was born in Port au Prince, Haiti on November 19,1967. She is the daughter of the late Marie Thèrèse St. Hubert Molière and the late Roland Jean-Francois.
Rose received her diploma in Business Administration in 1994 at the National School of Technology in Miami, Florida. In 2002 she moved to Hudson, Ohio where she married the late James Robert Gamberdella and were in union together before his passing in 2009. In 2012, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Akron. While living in Ohio she was employed at Home Depot for 14 years as a supervisor. She went on to work at the Cleveland Clinic as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Neurosciences Division. Following her move to Boston in 2014, she worked as a Senior Case Manager at Central Boston Elder Services and as a Mental Health Counselor at Bournewood Health Systems for over five years. In 2019 she met her second love, Richard Carlson, who became her source of strength and comfort throughout her diagnosis. They married in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 25th 2020.
Rose was a devout Catholic and dedicated her life to service to the end. She had an immense impact on those she met the numerous people she interacted with from Haiti, Canada, and various cities throughout the U.S are a living testament to the significant positive and lasting effect she had on people. Her love of life was infectious and it poured over everything she did from cooking, working, praying, to being a mother, a trusted friend, a colleague, a wife, and a sister. Rose's mission in life was simple: to be a refuge for those who had no other outlet, through her love of God she became a fierce advocate for others and shining example of a follower in Christ. She will always be remembered for her charm, graciousness, and laughter that followed wherever she went.
Mrs. Molière-Carlson is survived by her loving husband Richard, Daughter Keesha Whitley Molière, Son's Esperance Jeffery St. Lot and Steve Lorious Joseph, Sisters Laurendy Marie Emmanuelle Molière, Stephanie Aristel Mathieu, Marie Florence Aristel Cisse and Brothers Michael Reginald Jean-François and Billy John Patrice Aristhel. She leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins and countless others in mourning.
Her faith was unshakable. Her presence was luminous. Her absence will be painful but her memory will be everlasting.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, November 4, from 4:00 until 7:00pm and again on Friday, November 5 from 3:00 until 5:00pm in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London, CT. A Christian Mass Burial will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00am in Christ the King Church, 1 McCurdy Rd., Old Lyme. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New London.
