Ory was born on September 29, 1938 to the late Feleon and Marie Ida Halphen Broussard and was one of two children to that union.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he was well known for his avid gardening and carpentry work.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Della Vice Broussard, one daughter, Ida Broussard; three sons, Randell Broussard, Brian Broussard and Keith Broussard and one granddaughter, Kelsey Monique Broussard.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Bryant Broussard and one brother, Lester Joseph Broussard.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
