The only child of Mert and Lydia, Norma was born on July 1, 1930 in Springhill, Louisiana. She married and lived in Texas before eventually moving to Louisiana and settling in New Iberia with her family.
Norma enjoyed gardening, especially vegetables, and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Steve Allen and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Rachel Allen, Monica Trivanovich, Steven Allen, Ryan Allen, and Dustin Courrege; and great grandchildren, Dylan Trivanovich, Eli Trivanovich, and Mason Evans.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Percy Allen; son, Marcus Glynn Allen; and parents, Mert and Lydia Null.
