Daniel Andrew Comeaux

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Daniel Andrew Comeaux, age 71, at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Deacon Wade Broussard officiating. Interment will be held at Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday until service time.

A native of New Iberia and resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Comeaux passed away at 6:35 am on Monday, November 19, 2012 at his residence.

He is survived by his two sisters, Connie Comeaux Suire and husband Robert of New Iberia; Nadine Crabb and husband Scott of Coteau; his aunt, Shirley B. Comeaux of New Iberia; nieces and nephews, Tammy Freyou and husband Marty, Michelle Suire; Crystal Blanchard and husband Kent; Skipper Angelle and Gus Angelle and wife Meagan; great nieces and nephews, Kylie Suire, Kourtni Romero, Marti Jo Freyou ,Bronson Comeaux, Zack Blanchard and Evan Angelle.

The family would like to express their thanks to Michael and Sheila Boudreaux and St. Joseph’s Hospice for their excellent care.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ackley Joseph Comeaux and Esther Mary Bonin Comeaux.

Pallbearers will be Kent Blanchard, Michael Broussard, Marty Freyou, Bronson Cormier, Zack Blanchard and Gus Angelle.

His cousin Frank “Pookie” Vallone will serve as honorary pallbearer.
