Barbara Fullilove Pickett

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Clarence Dean Pickett, the former Barbara Fullilove, age 73, at 10:00 am Monday, August 4, 2014 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Downs officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday until service time.

A native of Sweeny, TX and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Pickett passed away at 9:20 am on, Monday, July 28, 2014 at Carpenter House in Baton Rouge.

Mrs. Pickett was a wonderful and loving wife, best friend, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed researching family history and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Clarence Dean Pickett; three daughters, Sheryl Bayard and husband Alcee Bayard of New Iberia; Lydia Bhojwani and husband Sheraz of Sugarland, TX and Deana Descloux and Donald Robinson of Pickerington, Ohio; one son, Steven Wayne Pickett and Kelly Chappell of Houston, TX ;ten grandchildren, Corey Bayard, Britney Bayard, Brandon Bayard, Imran Bhojwani, Aisha Islam, Nadia Bhojwani, Nicole Hartman, Ellie Chapman, Natalie Donahue and Seth Shuler and eleven great grandchildren, Benjamin Bayard, Kaelynn Bayard, Adam Bayard, Layla Bhojwani, Isa Islam, Zachary Grove, Braydon Donahue, Gabrielle Hartman, Hailey Hartman, Alex Hartman and Emma Hartman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Hendricks and Anne Weber Fullilove and one sister, Kathryn Enyart.

Pallbearers will be Corey Bayard, Brandon Bayard, Steven Wayne Pickett, Imran Bhojwani, Seth Shuler and Zachary Grove.
