Mary Kay retired from food service at the Robbinsdale School District having made life-long friends of her coworkers. Her Catholic faith was very important to Mary Kay . She was a member of the Saint Raphael Catholic Church for 63 years and rarely missed mass. She enjoyed many hobbies, from gardening and crocheting to knitting and baking. She loved live music and always took up the offer of a dance. Traveling with her family and friends, especially cruises to Puerto Rico, brought her joy.
Mary Kay was always willing to help those in need; she took care of many people and selflessly expected nothing in return. She was a very giving person and always had a thoughtful gift even if there was no occasion. Her greatest pride and joy was her family; spending time with them was very important to her. She enjoyed hosting large gatherings, always documenting with her camera. Her wit, sass, and sense of humor will be missed by all.
Survived by children Jeff (Teresa) Fossland, Lisa (Scott) Tombaugh, Sara Butterfield, Tony Fossland; grandchildren Dan Fossland, Dustin Groth, Ben Johnson, Kyle (Aleatha) Fossland, Megan Fossland, Evan Tombaugh, Teddy Tombaugh, Eric Johnson, Alex Johnson, Jenna (Blaine) Jensen, Brooke Sepin, Blake Fossland, Brandon Fossland; great-grandchildren Mia, Marjorie, Maverick, Maisley, Malcom, Katelyn, Skyler, Tristen, Brayden, Madison, Bennett, Carter; and many other relatives.
