Born 4/24/1935 to Alfred and Mary Stewart in Queens NY.
Died 11/2/2024 in New Hope, MN at the age of 89.
Finally rejoining her husband, Caroll, the love of her life; son, James and grandchildren Megan and Kristopher.
Survived by children Mary Wright, Steven (Diana), Greg (Paula), Deb (Art) Olson, Sharon, Kathleen (Scott Frost); daughter-in-law, Michelle; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and her sister, Jane (Dennis) Callahan.
Caroline met and married a handsome Navy man and moved to MN. They raised a brood of 7 and she followed the last child to OLV Catholic School to cook hot lunch. Retirement was filled with travel across the US with best friends Harvey and Rosie. A fashionista, always dressed to the nines, Caroline loved music and dance, painting, sewing and embroidery (everyone loved her towels), bingo, cards and gardening on the patio of St Therese of New Hope, where she spent her final years.
Caroline was a friend to everyone she met. The family would like to thank The Grace Hospice team for their care and support. Carol and Caroll together again…….hallelujah!!
Visitation 10 - 11 am followed by a Prayer Service at 11 am on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Kapala Glodek-Malone Funeral Home - 7800 Bass Lake Road, New Hope.
Luncheon will follow at the Crystal VFW #494 - 5222 Bass Lake Rd. Crystal.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the Saint Therese Foundation.
