Virginia Ryan of Suffern and Congers, NY, 86 years old, passed away peacefully on November 16th, 2020. Virginia was born in the Bronx, NY and was a Rockland resident for over 50 years.. She was born on May 4th, 1934 to Andrew and Mary Cunningham Moylan. She graduated from St. Pius High School and worked in the business world for many years, including her time at Audionics Corp. Virginia was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish in Suffern. She enjoyed bowling and loved to tell stories of her travels all over the world.. She was very proud of her Irish heritage, and her greatest joy came from her family. She was predeceased by her loving husbands James Logan in 1981 and Edward Ryan in 2013; in addition her brother and sisters, Thomas, Margaret, Kathleen, and Rita. She is survived by her daughters Virginia (Jim) Pskowski and Tara (Mark) Langway; and Edward Ryan’s children Edward (Valerie), Gerard, Christopher (Tracie) and Maureen (Jay). She is also survived by her brothers Andrew (Joan) Moylan and William (Colleen) Cunningham, and 18 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 9-11 am at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:30 am, at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern NY, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sisters of the Presentation, 84 Presentation Way, New Windsor NY 125553.
