I'm gonna really miss Venel and he always asked me where you're going I said I was going to class and I left my Knicks necklace on Deck he brought it back to me  and I said thank you so much I really appreciate him for that and I miss him thank you for all you did and done 🙏🙏🙏🙏 for me  

Venel was a father figure to me for the past 5 years. He was there whenever I needed him. He always looked out for me and gave me fatherly advice when I didn’t know what to do. Anything he could give he constantly supplied. Every time I was hungry or thirsty he’d find a way to get food for me. He made sure I constantly stayed in line. When I came back to school from a serious health scare he was one of the first to welcome me back with open arms. We will always have those precious memories that I will forever hold near and dear to my heart. Truly was a huge part of my development as a young adult. I will never forget all he’s done for me and all the other students. May his soul be at rest. Love and miss you forever dad 🖤🕊

Mr. Edouard was a valued member of the Spring Valley High School family and he is sorely missed. He was a security guard, coach, colleague, friend, and mentor, having a lasting impact on the entire school community. Sincerest condolences to his family, with whom we share this great loss.

There is so much that could be said about Venel. He was always joking, he made sure people were straight, and he brought good vibes to all of our family functions. He always brought positivity and laughter to those around him. I knew Venel for 10 years, and I called him my uncle. Nothing could have prepared me for his passing. Although his death was heartbreaking, God needed his angel to come home.

Luke 1:37 states that "..with God, nothing shall be impossible." Those who place their faith in God, will get through the toughest times. With this thought in mind, I have made peace with his passing and I hope that others will too. In this thing we call life, we have to take the good along with the bad. 

Venel truly left his mark on this earth and 
for that, I thank him. 

To Uncle Venel, I wish you a peaceful slumber.. I'll see you later. I love you.

I played Soccer with Venel at RCC.  We both played on the right side and worked together to give our team success.  He was a great man.  Always willing to help and teach.  I will never forget his kindness and comrardari.  RIP.

Venel was a great man. I met him through my son's Father. We shared a 20 year old friendship that I will cherish for the rest of my life. In 2014, he became my son's Godfather. He was my friend, my brother, he always listened to my drama and never judged me. He was such a caring soul and he was always prepared to help anyone.
There was never a dull moment with him. Venel was always full of laughs and he played an important role in with my boys lives. My family and I will forever miss him.
