Marie Farrell of Nanuet, NY, 73 years old, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2022. Marie was a resident of Nanuet for 40 years, and grew up in the Bronx. She was born on June 12, 1948. She graduated from Bellevue School of Nursing in 1969, and married the love of her life Martin in 1978. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, music and caring for her beloved dogs. She was an avid Yankee fan but her greatest joys came from her family. She is survived by her daughters Maureen Farrell and Kimberly Vitulli ( Joseph), her son Kevin ( Siobhan O'Hagan Farrell); her grandsons Owen, Emmett and Cillian Farrell and Patrick, Declan and John Vitulli. She is also survived by her sister Lorraine Vavrina Golio (Joseph), in addition to many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 3-7pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, 10am at St. Anthony’s Shrine Church, followed by interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
