Marie was born in Astoria, NY to Mario and Rita Durando on July 13, 1949. A graduate of St. John’s University, Marie worked for New York State Department of Insurance for over 20 years.
Beloved Sister to Louise Noll (Bob), and cherished “Auntie” to her nieces Maria Lavin (Jamie) and Lisa Hardy (Rob), her generosity knew no bounds. Affectionately known as “Auntie Ree” to her great nieces and nephew, Riley, Will, Mara and Ella, Marie will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, sense of humor, generosity and love for family and friends.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10am at Saint Anthony’s 36 W Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954. Gathering to follow at St. Anthony’s cemetery.
