On Thursday, November 26, 2020, Barbara Ann Lawrence loving wife and mother of three children passed away peacefully at the age of 79. She is survived by her husband, Warren J Lawrence “the love of her life” of 59 years and her loving children: Andrew Lawrence and his wife Cecilia, Joan Kennedy and her husband Timothy, Jeffrey Lawrence and his wife Bibianne. She was adored by all of her grandchildren who called her “Nan” Andrew (Denise) Jennifer (Michael) Ryan, Kelly (Sean), Brandon, Christopher, Tyler, Danielle (Phil), Stephanie (Joe), Matthew and 8 great grandchildren. Nan also had a special place in her heart for all of her fur grandbabies.
Barbara was born in Nyack, NY on February 24, 1941 to Frank and Mary Davis and was the youngest of 11 children. Barbara is survived by her loving sisters Ellie Iandoli, Mary Muller, Joan Eberling (Henry) and brother in law Gary Lawrence and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Barbara grew up in a loving home with her large tight knit family. She adored spending quality time and creating traditions with her parents, sisters and brothers. Barbara could always be found doing activities with her family such as swimming, roller-skating, bowling, and family gatherings. To this day Barbara has always deeply cared for her siblings and holds a special place in her heart for them.
Most of all, Barbara was a thoughtful, happy, caring person that made all those around her feel welcomed and loved, she cherished spending time with her loved ones. She prized herself on being a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She cared for the little things in life like making home cooked meals, exercising, reading, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. Anyone who met her described her as someone they were able to easily form a bond and connection with. Barbara loved life and lived her life to the fullest. She created endless memories that those who knew her will never forget. Barbara was always on the move doing something for someone she loved like baking cakes, making her famous baked beans or crocheting blankets for those that would soon be welcomed into the world. She was truly one of a kind and her sprit will live on forever.
In remembrance of Barbara, spend time with your loved ones, have a meal together and treasure all of the memories you have with her. Due to the COVID pandemic, Barbara’s family will have a private ceremony. A memorial will be scheduled at a later date that all family and friends can attend.
