Martin S. Kmiec passed away at his home in Marlborough, CT on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the age of 75. He was born in Brzesc Kujawski, Poland, the son of the late Sylwester and Jadwiga (Gorska) Kmiec. Martin was a professional driver for over five decades, having found a passion for the open road behind the wheels of his trucks. When he wasn’t working, you would find him spending time with his family or carefully tending to his truck. He is a very loved soul, and his love, kindness and generosity will always be cherished by those who know him.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, J. Teresa and Karim Almoor of Marlborough, CT, grandchildren Sara and Mona Almoor, as well as Monika, Maxwell and Jason Avery of Winter Garden, FL, a sister and nephew in Poland, Tatiana Kowalewska and Darek Kowalewski, and many extended family members. May Martin’s body rest in peace and may all his soul always be soothed and protected by the purest Source of light and love.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
