Leroy R. Noonan 78, of Bokeelia, FL, formerly of East Hartford, CT, passed away on August 11, 2018. Born on April 7, 1940, he proudly joined the U. S. Marines two days after his 17th birthday, where he served 7 years. He is survived by several sisters and brothers, four daughters, two sons, several grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was an avid Yankees and New England Patriots fan. He loved to cook, play golf, woodworking and always enjoyed a good card game.
Family and friends are welcome to join the family and Celebrate his Life on Saturday, September 8, 2018 beginning at 9:00am, followed by memorial service with military honors starting at 11: 30am at the New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, CT (Directions, Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right. )
