Joseph Smyk

Joseph Smyk entered into eternal rest on January 12, 2023 at Autumn Lake HealthCare. He was a survivor of a Soviet prison camp in Siberia, and a World War II Veteran in the Polish Army. He was an active community member belonging to many veteran organizations. His great love was helping people, dancing, and praying the Rosary. He is survived by his two daughters Madeleine DiCicco and Marsha McDonald, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Please proceed directly to church for funeral mass. New Britain Memorial Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
